Big News for Our Community!

Rural Health Partners is thrilled to share that Medical Center Barbour has officially raised the maximum allotted funds — $750,000 — through the Rural Hospital Tax Credit (HB86), and we did it in just 45 minutes of the portal opening!

Out of the 50 qualified rural hospitals, Medical Center Barbour was one of five hospitals  that reached the cap. This incredible achievement was made possible by the overwhelming support of the greater Eufaula community, including Barbour, Henry, and Russell counties.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, spread the word, and showed up for local healthcare. Together, we are strengthening our hospital and helping make the greater Eufaula area a truly exceptional healthcare community.

Looking ahead: Next year, each qualified hospital will have the opportunity to raise up to $1 million through Rural Hospital Tax credits — let’s come together again and reach our goal for 2027!
